In S1 we have been looking at African art. We made african silhouette pictures and animal prints using pastel techniques.

Cleo’s dad came in with his African instruments (one made put of a Goat’s toe nails) we played as an african band.

Mr Hough came in to Year 1 to do an African morning with the children. Mr Hough has visited a school in Zambia and told us all about how it was different to life at Oswald Road Primary School. We love the af  African story about how the Zebra got It’s stripes….
